Biothis blog is the chronicles of me,neon and my trusty sidekick Duck. you can follow us though ordinary life with the occasional adventure thrown in. hopefully i will be better about updating our adventures, but since i work full-time and take as many classes as possible without going insane, well... sometimes i am just not good about updating the adventures. i love making chocolate truffles. i have plans of world domination by getting everyone addicted to my tasty little creations.
wait... i didn't just say that out loud did i???
look over there. what in the world could that be --------------------------->
anyway, i am working very slowly towards my environmental horticulture degree. what does that have to do with tasty chocolate, well let me tell you. absolutely nothing, that's right nothing. unless i buy a cocoa plantation and learn to grow and process my own chocolate. actually, i don't think that will ever happen. interesting thought though.
my partner in crime is taka-san, aka taka-kun, or just plain taka. he is the first and foremost guinea pig in my chocolate empire. that and he is also very kind as to put up with me on a daily basis. not always an easy task i imagine. of course taka is an awesome cook. yummy, yummy, yummy. and he does the laundry. he's a keeper.
speaking of cooking...i love to cook!!! even if it is just throwing together a salad. my co-workers are always ogling my lunch time salads. the best veggies never go near any heat or if they do, they are just shown it for a few seconds as a scare tactic. taka and i love to stir fry. he is much better at creating his own recipes than i am. currently i am in love with nepal cuisine, mexican cuisine, and african cuisine.
taka and i are joined by buttercup, our insatiable iguana; serengeti, our pretty little ball python; and orinoco, our hefty, yet sleekly beautiful boa, whom seems to be a boy not a girl.
